Endovascular Surgery
Physicians provide excellent care of patients with abdominal and other complex aortic aneurysms. Techniques include conventional surgical repair and, for appropriate patients, minimally invasive endovascular repair. Members of the vascular surgery division, and associates in other disciplines at BIDMC, work together to develop and apply new endovascular technologies, such as angioplasty, stents, stented grafts and the use of growth factors and wound-healing agents, to treat vascular disease.
